Autumn – All the Leaves are Brown

We have had a beautiful but unseasonably warm fall. The leaves have just begun dropping in earnest, but the dry weather has limited the colors.

There have been reports among friend of dire illnesses and stories of others who have descended into homelessness after a lifetime of questionable decisions. You have to ask whether these folks now regret their insistence on going their own way? Living in a box in an underpass is not a pleasant prospect with winter around the corner but you can’t save everybody.

One the economic front, tech stocks took a beating this week and many analysts fear that the AI buildout is a bubble that is about to burst. Additionally, Anthropic is bearing down on its IPO within weeks. That could turn into a colossal train wreck.

So, life goes on as it has, I still question whether anything is real, God does not intervene, and all we can do is endure…. for reasons I cannot fathom.
