Objectivity

We flew to St. Martin on Aril 2 and sailed with Katie and Trent on the 42′ catamaran “Solace”. It was a fantastic trip which I will detail later (in this space) from the journal I kept on the trip.

Back in the US later on 4/14, I did a little work at Mom’s, got the plow back here, and started working toward getting the garden ready to plant. Tomorrow is Derby Day and it is very cold for this time of year…possible frost tonight and tomorrow night.

I read Master and Commander on the trip (fitting!) and am now back on “Mein Kampf”. Hitler’s plans for German education in the “folkish state” are revealing. It is clear that he is a product of his environment and sees everything through the lens of his life (as do most of us). Perhaps the truly intelligent can grasp the broader picture and come to conclusions that take into account the experiences of the entire population.
