1990’s

Here’s a funny thing: I can’t find a single word I wrote in the 1990’s. I was surprised….then, surprised about being surprised. Here’s why I didn’t write for 10+ years. Two daughters born 1988 and 1991. Teaching school. Graduate degree. Got Insurance and real estate licenses. Taking care of up to 27 head of horses, breeding mares, taking care of foals, feeding, cutting hay, growing a garden, cutting three acres of grass, created S corp. and opened a riding stable, maintaining a house, started web hosting business, took new job in IT, bought new property, built house – literally doing much of the work, coaching/managing little league, opened another side business with a partner, got caught up in Rev. War reenacting and spent too much time camping, built .50 flintlock, finished basement in new house – doing much of the work myself. And yes, my wife made it possible for all this to happen. And that’s why I didn’t write.

If you’re too busy to think, you can’t write….and sometimes that’s a good thing.
